The Mission of the WGEM/Herald Whig TriState Pro-Am is to further Jr. golf in the TriState area. Golf teaches many valuable life lessons, and we find it important to grow the game in the TriState area to help our youth become successful in life. Ultimately this will benefit the TriState community.
The United Way harnesses the caring power of communities to advance the greater good and create opportunities for a better life for all. We have named the United Way of Adams County as a beneficiary to help them on their mission as well.
“United Way of Adams County focuses its efforts and resources on local programs and partnerships working to ensure children are prepared for success in school; high school graduates are ready for college or career; individuals and families can manage basic needs and save for the future; and people are healthy. To this end, United Way convenes public, private, corporate, faith-based, healthcare, education and human service sectors of the community to sustain, develop and implement programs that address changing needs in Adams County. “
The other beneficiary of the TriState Pro-Am is the Junior Rangers Golf Academy, featuring The First Tee LINK program! Class registration is now open so please sign up and checkout the Junior Rangers website for more info.
